The Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival,
proudly hosted each September by the Washington County Fair, is a vibrant celebration of fiber, farming, and creativity in the heart of Washington County.

This beloved fall tradition features over 100 local wool and craft vendors offering everything from hand-spun yarn and fleece to artisan goods and handmade treasures. Visitors can enjoy sheep, cashmere goat, and fiber shows, along with live sheep shearing educational demonstrations that highlight the rich agricultural heritage of our region.

Bring the whole family for free children’s activities, horse-drawn wagon rides, engaging craft workshops, and up-close opportunities to learn about fiber animals. With free parking and just $5 admission, it’s an affordable and fun-filled day for all ages.

New this year: Don’t miss our exciting Giant Pumpkin Contest and Photo Contest, the most perfect ways to showcase your talents and celebrate the beauty of the season!

Join us each September for a weekend of wool, arts, agriculture, and community spirit. Visit our website for full event details, schedules, and information on how to enter this year’s contests.
