Washington County Fair
Animal Health Check Lists

Biosecurity education for the saftey of all the animals; to be completed before fair week!

Health checks are the first line of defense in preventing the spread of contagious diseases between humans and animals. Some conditions noted on this checklist may not pose a significant risk; if observed, notify the barn superintendent.

COMPLETE ALL HEALTH CHECKS BEFORE COMING TO THE FAIR!

Health checks shouldn’t start the week of the fair, they should be part of your routine care months in advance. Regularly monitoring your animal helps you establish what’s normal and allows you to quickly recognize early signs of illness.

By staying consistent with health checks, you help protect your animal, other exhibitors’ animals, and the overall safety of the fair.
