POULTRY EXHIBITORS

PULLORUM CLINIC AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR

July 2nd, 2025:  10:00 am through to 1:00 pm

All poultry (except doves, pigeons, & waterfowl) are required to have a Negative Pullorum test conducted within 90 days before exhibition (the Fair). No charge. No sign-up necessary.

If you have questions about what breed or variety your birds are, this is the time to ask :)

The Entry Office will also be open if you want to pick up &/or turn in Entry Forms.

Entry Deadlines:
Postmarked by Wednesday, July 16th.
Hand Delivered to the Entry Office by 6pm Friday, July 18th.
Submitted Online by Midnight Monday, July 21st.
The Entry Office Hours are 8 am - 4 pm.
Paper copies of Departments, Entry Forms, Dorm Forms, & Camper Applications are available in the Entry Office.  Camper Applications MUST come in WITH ENTRIES!

Eligibility to Enter the Washington County Fair:
Exhibitors MUST be a resident of Washington County, (primary residence must be in Washington County, NY) NY except for the Open Horse Show, Open Gymkhana, Open Ox Versatility Challenge, Truck & Tractor Pulls, & Demolition Derbies. YOUTH Class Exhibitors must be a resident of Washington County, NY; attend a school in Washington County or be a member of a 4-H Club, FFA, or Scouts in Washington County, NY.  Youth Exhibitors must be 5 yrs. old by December 1st of current year and under 19 yrs. of age as of January 1st of the current year.​OPEN Class Exhibitors must be a resident of Washington County.  In the case of joint or multiple ownership - ALL owners must reside in Washington County, NY by July 15th of the current year.

REMINDER:  Washington County Highschool Seniors,
the Washington County Fair annually awards 5 ~ $500 scholarships to college bound students.
Any Youth who has participated in the Washington County Fair and will be attending an institution of higher education in the Fall may apply for a scholarship.
